Yelda TUNA was born in Izmir in 1971. She completed her secondary and high school education at Izmir American College and graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Architecture in 1994. After working in several reputable architectural offices in Izmir since her student years, she founded her own company in 1998 and continues her professional life with a design-oriented approach, providing architectural design, interior design, and construction services with her team.
Her projects include villas, apartments, industrial buildings, and public buildings. Her priority is to create high-quality buildings and spaces by combining functionality and aesthetics. Between 1999 and 2004, she served as a council member of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and the Konak Municipality. During this period, she served as an architect on various committees, primarily as deputy mayor and on the zoning commission. From 2017 to 2021, she was a part-time lecturer in building information and architectural design studios at Izmir Yaşar University. From 2020 to 2024, she actively participated in the work of the Chamber of Architects Izmir Branch, serving as a board member during its 45th and 46th terms. She is a member of the Izmir Association of Independent Architects. She is married and has two young children.
